More Than a Day Camp
Our camps are inspired by the same creative approach we use in Canyon Fine Arts Preschool (coming Fall 2027), where we believe young children learn best when they have opportunities to move their bodies, use their imaginations, create with their hands, and explore the world around them.
Throughout each camp, children will rotate through a variety of age-appropriate activities centered around the day’s theme. Every camp is a little different, but you can expect plenty of:

Pumpkin Patch Party
Celebrate everything we love about fall! Little artists will explore pumpkins and harvest through seasonal art, music, movement, stories, and hands-on activities.
Land of Sweets
Step into the magical world of The Nutcracker! Preschoolers will dance, create, explore music, and use their imaginations during a sweet holiday adventure.
Snowflakes & Sparkles
Step into a sparkling winter wonderland! Preschoolers will explore the magic of snow and ice through winter-inspired art, music, creative movement, storytelling, and frosty hands-on fun.
Be Our Guest
A morning inspired by friendship, flowers, and a tale as old as time! Children will explore music, movement, art, storytelling, and the joy of being a good friend.
Magic Beans & Giant Dreams
What can grow from one tiny bean? Inspired by Jack and the Beanstalk, this camp combines planting, art, storytelling, music, movement, and larger-than-life imaginative play.
A Little Bit of Magic
A fairy-tale morning filled with creativity and imagination! Preschoolers will explore Cinderella through music, movement, art, dress-up, storytelling, and plenty of magical play.

Preschool Day Camps are open to the community, so your child does not need to be a current Canyon Dance Academy student to participate.
Space is limited in each camp. Choose your favorite theme—or come experience them all!
Preschool Day Camp FAQs
What ages are Preschool Day Camps for?
Our Preschool Day Camps are designed for children ages 2.5–5 years old. All children must be fully potty trained to attend.
Older kids are welcome too—sometimes they just want a safe place to hang out, play games, watch a movie, and spend time with friends.
Does my child need to be a current Canyon Dance Academy student?
No. Our Preschool Day Camps are open to everyone. They’re a great way to experience Canyon Dance Academy and get a peek at the creative learning approach behind our Fine Arts Preschool.
Does my child need dance or art experience?
No experience is needed! Camps are designed for preschoolers of all experience levels and focus on exploring, creating, moving, and having fun.
What happens during a Preschool Day Camp?
Each camp is built around a special theme and includes a mix of music, creative movement, visual art, storytelling, imaginative play, and hands-on activities.
How long are the camps?
Each Preschool Day Camp is two hours long, giving children plenty of time to explore a variety of activities without making the day too long for our youngest campers.
Do parents stay during camp?
No. Preschool Day Camps are drop-off events. Our instructors will take great care of your child while they create, play, and explore!
What should my child wear?
Send your child in comfortable clothing that they can easily move and create in. We may be painting, crafting, dancing, and playing, so please choose clothing that can handle a little creative mess!
What should my child bring?
Please send a labeled water bottle. If a specific camp requires anything additional, we’ll let you know before camp day.
What does “fully potty trained” mean?
Children should be able to recognize when they need to use the restroom, communicate that need to an adult, and use the toilet with minimal assistance. Please have your child use the restroom before camp begins.
What if my child has never done a drop-off activity before?
We understand that this may be some children’s first drop-off experience! Our teachers will help children transition into camp activities and feel comfortable in the space. If your child is unable to settle or participate safely, we will contact you.
What is Canyon Fine Arts Preschool?
Launching Fall 2027, Canyon Fine Arts Preschool will combine strong early-learning foundations with music, movement, visual art, drama, and imaginative play. Our Preschool Day Camps are a fun way for children and families to get to know our teachers, our space, and our creative approach to learning before preschool begins. What is your refund/cancellation policy
Space in our Preschool Day Camps is limited, and registration reserves a spot specifically for your child. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the camp may receive a credit toward a future Canyon Dance Academy Preschool Day Camp. Cancellations made within 48 hours of camp, as well as no-shows, are non-refundable and are not eligible for credit.
If Canyon Dance Academy must cancel a camp, families will receive a full refund.
