Parent’s Night Out Themes
Join us on the 2nd Friday of each month from 5:30–8:30 PM for Parents’ Night Out at Canyon Dance Academy! Each month features a new theme with pizza, games, activities, friends, and a movie to end the night.
Open to ages 4+, including CDA dancers, siblings, friends, and the community. Older kids are welcome to come hang out with friends, too!

Frequently Asked Questions
What ages can attend?
Parents’ Night Out is for ages 4 and up! Kids should be comfortable being left in someone else’s care.
Older kids are welcome too—sometimes they just want a safe place to hang out, play games, watch a movie, and spend time with friends.
Does my child have to attend Canyon Dance Academy?
No! Parents’ Night Out is open to CDA dancers, siblings, friends, and the community. All children must have a signed waiver on file before participating.
Who will be supervising the kids?
Parents’ Night Out will be supervised by our CDA team, with staffing based on the number and ages of children registered. We follow the State of Idaho’s supervision requirements to ensure appropriate staffing. At least one attendant will be CPR-certified, and all adults supervising will have completed a background check.
Does my child need to be potty-trained?
Yes. All children attending Parents’ Night Out must be fully potty-trained.
Can I drop off late or pick up early?
Absolutely! Just let us know in advance so our team knows when to expect you.
What is included?
Pizza, games, activities, time with friends, and a movie to finish the night.
What should my child wear?
Comfortable clothes they can move, play, and relax in.
What if my child has a food allergy?
Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions when registering.
Is there a minimum number of kids needed?
Yes. We need a minimum of four registered children to hold Parents’ Night Out. If we do not meet the minimum, registered families will be notified and refunded.
What's your cancellation or refund policy for Parents' Night Out?
Cancellations made at least 4 days before the event are eligible for a refund/credit. Cancellations after that time are non-refundable.
Do I need to stay?
Nope—that’s the point! Once your child is checked in, you’re free to enjoy a few kid-free hours.

Parents’ Night Out Terms & Conditions
By registering my child for Parents’ Night Out at Canyon Dance Academy, I understand and agree to the following:
Eligibility: Children must be age 4 or older, fully potty-trained, and comfortable being left in the care of Canyon Dance Academy staff without a parent or guardian present.
Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Parents’ Night Out is scheduled from 5:30–8:30 PM. Late drop-off or early pick-up is welcome; however, we ask that you notify us in advance whenever possible. All children must be picked up by 8:30 PM.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received at least four (4) days before the event to receive a refund or account credit. Cancellations made less than four days before the event and no-shows are non-refundable.
Canyon Dance Academy reserves the right to cancel Parents’ Night Out if minimum enrollment is not met or due to circumstances beyond our control. If Canyon Dance Academy cancels the event, registered families will receive a full refund or account credit.
Food: Pizza and a snack may be provided during the evening. Parents are responsible for informing Canyon Dance Academy of any food allergies or dietary restrictions during registration. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Behavior & Safety: Children are expected to follow staff directions and behave in a manner that allows us to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. If a child becomes ill, is unable to safely participate, or requires care beyond what our staff can reasonably provide, a parent or emergency contact may be asked to pick up the child early.
Waiver Required: A completed and signed parent/guardian waiver is required for every child participating in Parents’ Night Out. Children may not be left in our care without a completed waiver.
Parent/Guardian Acknowledgment: By completing registration, I confirm that I have read and agree to the Parents’ Night Out Terms & Conditions and that the information I have provided regarding my child is accurate and complete.
