Step 3: Enjoy the Journey
Here’s what happens when you join Tiny Movers:
Week 1-2: You’ll walk into a welcoming space where babies cry, parents ask questions, and everyone’s figuring it out together. Your baby will start experiencing new sights, sounds, and movements.
Week 3-4: You’ll notice your baby recognizing familiar songs and activities. You’ll have new techniques to use during playtime at home. You’ll start chatting with other parents before and after class.
Week 5-6: You’ll see your baby reaching milestones—maybe it’s rolling over, sitting up, or taking first steps. You’ll feel more confident in your parenting. You’ll have a community of families who “get it.”
Beyond: When your baby is ready, they can continue into our Toddler N’ Me program (18 months+), then preschool dance classes (3-5 years). We’re here for the whole journey—but there’s no pressure. This is about enjoying where you are right now.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if my baby has a meltdown during class?
Totally normal! Babies cry, need diaper changes, get hungry—it’s all part of the experience. Our classes are designed with real babies (and real parents) in mind. Take breaks whenever you need to. We’ve all been there!
I'm a first-time parent and don't know what I'm doing. Will I fit in?
You’ll fit in perfectly! Many of our parents are first-timers, and everyone’s learning together. Our instructors are here to guide you, and you’ll quickly find your people.
What should we wear?
Whatever’s comfortable! Babies can wear onesies or soft play clothes. Parents should dress comfortably for sitting on the floor and moving with your baby.
Do I need to bring anything?
Nope! We provide everything—props, materials, and a clean environment. You might want to bring a small blanket for Baby Massage & Movement, but that’s optional.
What happens after Tiny Movers?
If you want to continue, your child can transition into our Toddler N’ Me program (18 months+) and eventually our preschool classes (3-5 years). But there’s no obligation—you can enjoy Tiny Movers for exactly as long as it works for your family.
Can I bring my older child too?
Classes are designed for specific age ranges to keep activities appropriate, but we understand family logistics! Give us a call and let’s talk about your situation—we’re flexible.
My baby seems behind on milestones. Is this class still okay?
Absolutely. Every baby develops differently, and our classes support wherever your baby is right now. Many parents find that the activities help their babies reach milestones naturally—but there’s never pressure or comparison.
What's your cancellation or refund policy for Little Mover's classes?
At Canyon Dance Academy, we understand that life with babies is unpredictable. This policy balances fairness to families and instructors while maintaining program quality.
6-Week Sessions
Cancellations & Refunds
Before first class: Full refund with 48-hour notice
- Week 1: 80% refund or full credit
- Week 2: 60% refund or full credit
- Week 3: 40% refund or full credit
- Week 4+: No refund; credit for remaining classes
Credits
- Valid for 12 months
- Apply to any Tiny Movers or Canyon Dance Academy program
- Non-transferable between families
Drop-In Classes & Punch Cards
- Single classes: No refunds; one-time credit with 24-hour notice
- Punch cards: Valid 90 days; no refunds; transferable to family/friends
Special Circumstances
We’ll work with you on:
- Medical issues: 2+ week absence (doctor’s note required) = prorated credit
- Family emergencies: Case-by-case consideration
- Relocation: 30+ miles from Caldwell = prorated refund/credit
Studio Cancellations
If we cancel due to instructor illness, facility issues, weather, or low enrollment:
- Full credit for missed class, OR
- Prorated refund if no makeup available, OR
- Makeup class option
If we cancel an entire session before it starts, full refund within 7 days.
