How can my dancer prepare for Company during the summer?

Team dancers are encouraged to continue training. Summer intensive classes are mandatory for all Ignite and Fire team members. This includes ballet classes (non-negotiable) & technique classes, and the genre in which a dancer wishes to compete. It is highly recommended to take a full complement of classes.

SUMMER TRAINING IS JULY 15- AUGUST 29

All tuition is due regardless of time away (we cannot prorate classes based on your vacations or other time away.) If your dancer is planning a summer dance or performance experience, this must be approved and coordinated with the Director in advance of Team/Company selection. There are no exceptions to this, so please do not ask.

What are the regular season class requirements?

What is the time commitment?

Company runs from August through our spring recital. Rehearsals begin in August.

As a member of a competitive team, regular class attendance is extremely important. If just one team member is absent from a rehearsal, the entire team is negatively affected.

We are finalizing the contract which will include practice days, attendance policies, investment, competition dates, and more. We are waiting on a few competition dates, but we hope to have the full schedule out by the end of June. If not, we will release what we have by the end of June and add competition dates as they are released.

Will my child participate in recitals?

In addition to competitions and local performance opportunities, your child will have the opportunity to perform their company routines in the Winter Show and Spring Recitals.
