Spring Production :Elements in Motion
May 30, 2026 in the Caldwell High School AuditoriumTickets Go On Sale May 2nd at 8:30 am
Five Elements. One Powerful Story in Motion.
Elements in Motion brings our dancers to the stage in a breathtaking celebration where movement mirrors the natural world. Air, water, earth, and fire come alive through expressive choreography, music, and storytelling, with every class contributing to a dynamic and visually striking performance.
At the center is the fifth element—the human spirit—the force that adapts, endures, and rises above. More than a recital, Elements in Motion is a powerful celebration of growth, resilience, and expression, showing how dance connects us to both the world around us and the strength within.
Be a kind and respectful audience! Cheer for every dance, and don’t disrupt others by talking.
Enter and exit only between dances. Do not use side doors unless needed for physical accessibility.
No flash photography (it is very disruptive to the performers), and silence your devices. We will record the performance and it will be available for purchase.
The show is approximately an hour and a half in length.
After the finale, come up to the stage where your child will be sitting and waiting for you. This is a great time to take pictures of them on stage, give them flowers, etc.
Dress Rehearsal
Dress Rehearsal starts at 4:00 pm on May 29th in the Caldwell High School Auditorium
Please arrive 10 minutes early in full costume and find your dancers designated seating with class signs.
Please speak in hushed tones as to not distract dancers on stage.
We aim to keep Dress Rehearsals on schedule, but please remember they're a chance to iron out any issues before the main performance. Your understanding is appreciated.
Dancers are free to leave once they have rehearsed.

Costumes, Hair, Makeup
Costumes will be sent home starting on on May 4th. Accounts must be paid in full before receiving a costume.
Costumes
Come prepared to dance! Have your costume, tights, and shoes on for the dress rehearsal and recital.
Please keep your costume(s) safe! Do not play or eat in your costume.
Do not wash or iron your costume. To fluff tutus, you may hang your costume upside down in the bathroom while you shower (the warm steam will help reduce wrinkles). Do not hang in the shower or where it could get wet.
Hair
Dancer’s hair should be worn in a low bun with a split part for recital and strongly encouraged for dress rehearsal. All hairstyles should include gel and/or hairspray- no flyaways.
Hair nets or donuts can make buns significantly easier.
Makeup
Make-up for recital should consist of eye shadow in neutral tones; black or brown mascara and eyeliner for eyes; and rosy-colored cheeks and lips.
No nail polish; jewelry; or underwear under their tights.
Parents of younger dancers, we will defer to your judgment on makeup for your child. We encourage it as the stage lights can make them look washed out or pale.
All Creative 3s, 4s, Kinder Combo, and all other ballet classes will wear pink ballet tights and pink ballet shoes.
Unless specified, Jazz classes will wear tan tights and tan jazz shoes.
All Tap classes will wear tan tights and black tap shoes.
Unless specified, Hip Hop classes will need to wear black ankle socks with black hip-hop/athletic shoes.
Unless specified, Contemporary and Lyrical will wear tan tights and half-sole shoes.
Unless specified, Modern will wear footless tan tights with no shoes.
Unless specified, Musical Theater will wear tan tights and Black jazz shoes.
Acro will wear footless tan tights with no shoes.

No food or drink in the auditorium, please.
What time should my dancer arrive before the show?
Shows begin at 1:00 and 4:00. Doors will open at 12:30 and 3:30. Younger dancers need to be in their dressing rooms (located off the side hallway in the band or orchestra room) at 12:45 but no earlier than 12:30; and 3:45 but not earlier than 3:30 respectfully. Come prepared to dance! Have your costume, tights, and shoes on. Hair needs to be pulled into a slick low bun (no bangs or flyaways) and stage make-up needs to be applied.
Nothing except water is allowed backstage or in the dressing rooms. There is no food or drink allowed in the auditorium.
- Do have something for your dancer to do while they wait backstage to perform. Coloring crayons, card games, puzzles, or small toys are appropriate (Label all your items. We are not responsible for items lost). Please do not pop in and out of the dressing rooms unnecessarily. It is very hard on the dancers (especially the younger ones) if you leave, and they can’t come with you. Dancers are expected to wait backstage so they may participate in the finale. We have some very reliable and awesome Backstage Helpers; your child is safe with them. If you want to be in the room with them for the entire show, please feel free to do so. The dressing rooms are located off the hallway to the side of the auditorium.
- It is going to be a long day, so please feed your child and ensure they get plenty of rest before the show.
Which classes will participate in the Winter Show and Spring Recital?
All our dance classes (except Toddler N’ Me, Tumbling, and Adult Hip Hop) will participate in our Winter Show and Spring Recital.
