Calling all dancers! We are looking for eager and talented dancers to join the opening and closing numbers of our Spring Recital!
What is the Pure Imagination Production?
This is a special group of dancers who will perform the opening and closing numbers of the Spring Recital. This is a fantastic opportunity for dancers to showcase their skills, gain performance experience, and be part of a fun and collaborative environment.
Who can join?
This program is open to dancers of all levels, ages 3 and above.
Here’s everything you need to know:
Tryouts:
- Date: March 9th
- Location: Canyon Dance Academy
- Cost: $10
- Age Group Times:
- 11 and up: 5-6:30
- 10 and younger: 4-5
Practices:
- Start Date: April 6th
- End Date: June 1st
- Schedule:
- Saturdays, 5-6:30 (Older Group)
- Saturdays, 4:15-5 (Younger Group)
- Combined Practices:
- May 4th & 11th: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
- May 29th: 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm combined practice
- May 30, 5:30 pm- 7:30 pm, optional practice, if needed
- May 31st: Dress rehearsal, TBD
- No practice: May 18th & 25th
Performances:
- Date: June 1st
- Times: 1:00 pm & 4:00 pm
- Location: Caldwell High School
Additional Information:
- Participation Cost: $65 for older group, $50 for younger group
- Costumes: Dancers will wear their Spring Recital costumes or rented costumes, no additional costume purchase required.
- Commitment: This program requires a significant time commitment. Dancers are expected to attend ALL scheduled tryouts, practices, and performances. If you miss rehearsals, you will be cut.
